Most of us are intrigued by the miracle of flight, especially kids. They love aeroplanes! It used to be that onlookers could gather by the edge of the runway, families would picnic by the airport, and kids congregated in masses to see the planes.

Airport regulations keep us a safe distance from danger

We encourage schools to bring their pupils along and we will allow them to climb inside some of our aircraft under supervision of real life pilots. We find this gives students the best understanding of how aeroplanes work and what pilots do. You can combine a tour of Air Australia with any of joy flights, charter flights and there are public viewing areas for watching aircraft take off and land and having lunch and making a day of it.
